About Us
Saint George Greek Orthodox Church is an Orthodox Parish in the heart of downtown Redding.
We meet beneath the historic Lorenz Hotel.
We practice Orthodox Christianity — the faith of the apostles, church fathers, and martyrs.
We work out our salvation with fear and trembling and according to the tradition handed down through millenia.
Though part of the Greek Archdiocese, we are not all ethnically Greek.
All are welcome here: cradle Orthodox, converts, and any who seek the true faith, which is found only in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
