Our Clergy

His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos

His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos

Our bishop is Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco. If you are unfamiliar with the Orthodox Faith, all churches are under the authority of a bishop. All bishops derive their authority through a direct line of succession that can be traced back to the apostles, and ultimately Christ Himself. We call this "Apostolic Succession." Therefore, we can rightly call His Eminence "our clergy" even though he does not preside here on most Sundays. Continuing the tradition practiced by Christians in the New Testament, the bishop delegates his authority to priests.

Visiting Priests

We are a mission parish, which means that we are a group of Orthodox Christians who are committed to regular gathering, evangelism, and other ministries. As part of this, we are visited by priests from within our metropolis who serve the Divine Liturgy on a regular basis. Please visit our calendar page to see a list of upcoming services.

If you have questions that require a priest's attention — matters of spiritual guidance — please contact one of the priests below, who are familiar with our parish.
